[Sometimes, the library gives you very odd things, and other times, very rarely, it gives you just what you need.

That's right, Rin is at the library. She's walking around, gaze darting to and fro with an almost nervous air. Whenever she meets a person, she backpedals just a little. Slung tightly into her arms is a bunch of books, and she's taking care to cover their titles with her limbs and clothing. Still, an attentive eye might maybe catch a glimpse -- but oh!

Now she seems to have found out where she wants to go. She's retreating into the desolate areas of the building, where no one else cares to sit. There is no table there, but a lone chair next to a window. Rin shoots a last look to the left and one to the right, then she turns the chair around so that it faces the window, sits down and puts the books down on the windowsill.

Revealed is the title of the book at the top, which reads: "Sex For The Clueless - An Illustrated Step-By-Step Guide On How To Please Your Partner". Make no mistake: Rin is doing research.]

I'm told the only real way to figure it out is to just do it.

[Rin first jumps at the voice suddenly coming from behind her - so close, too! - letting out a little scream, and then nearly falls out of her seat while trying to cover up the incriminating evidence. She is blushing furiously, too. Then she turns around to him, giving him a sort of embarassed glare.]

U-uh, Rokuta! H-hello, ahh...

What'cha doing?

[Meanwhile, she's still busy trying to gather the books in her arms and covering them with her wide sleeves.]

Trying to read, and I'd like to do so in quiet!

Go for it, I won't say anything. Pretend I'm not even here.

Do forgive my rudeness, but... [here, have another sharp glare] why do you insist on staying?

I'm bored. There's no one around.

[Siiigh.]

I'm sure someone can be found. Who isn't trying to read in peace.

Reading your dirty books where no one can see them, huh? Lemme have one, I'll give it to Keiki and the look on his face will be priceless.

Yeah, yeah. It's "educational", right? What're you looking it up for anyway? I'd think by now you'd know how that stuff works.

It's either that or I make him spend a day with Shouryuu. That'd scar him for life.

[And another one from Rin, too! Then she looks at her toes, flustered.] You're being a little intrusive here, you know.

[That last sentence earns him another sour look.] Does it have to be one of these?

Oh? Am I? I guess you don't have to tell me.

Well, considering it looks like you took just about every book from that particular section... yes.

[Sputter"] Yes, you are!

[But she gets herself back in check and now speaks clearly, with a slightly exaggerated air.]

I meant, do you have to either give him one of these books or subject him to Shouryuu-san?

I could do both?

How about neither? [Looking ever-so-slightly exasperated here.]

Where's the fun in that?

H-hey! [She yelps and grabs the book in his hands, yanking at it. And she also can't help the words that escape her mouth next.]

Aren't you too young to be reading that?

Who're you talking to here? I've lived with Shouryuu for five hundred years. You don't do that and not know about this stuff. Whether you want to or not.
