So Manji is here.

I'm still so happy. It's like I only realized how much I missed him when he came here - and now I'm just grateful every single day that he's around.

And yet - and yet I can't rest in that gratefulness. Because he's from earlier. Because he'll still get captured. And when I go back, he'll still be in danger.

So going back is still my goal, but it's easier now - well, in some way easier and in some way harder. I don't know.

Maybe that demon was -- no.

At the end of the day, things are still the same. And yet I know I'll have to change them someday. Make a difference.

Which way should I go?

Well, that was interesting. Somewhat stressful, but interesting. Also that I went to a private girl's school - it sort of mirrors my own education; even if the rest wasn't much like it. Schools are usually private at home. Public schools and the compulsion that everyone must attend school, that's not really known.

It's been a while.

And the mischief I got into during those three days! I swear I wasn't that bad. Well, all young children get into trouble now and then... but it's safe. At the end of the day, there's still... there's still mommy and daddy and friends and teachers. Pretty harmless compared to some other things I've dealt with - and not least of all the City.

... I hope no one was seriously harmed during this curse. For all its seeming harmlessness, you never know.

*nods* Asagami Women's Academy is a high-class private school for girls, with it's own proper history. It's very strict with its rules, so attendance is not for the capricious-at-heart.

Not precisely. That curse, I transferred to the public school, something I never did back home though with Nii-san's faulty schedule, the idea was tempting. Also, being a boarding school, Asagami students are to live in the dorms at all times. Though those with influential families like mine are given leeway. And rebellious students in general often find ways to sneak out.

...hehe, I never thought of it like that. Given that students are to not associate with those of opposite sex, and the isolated nature of the school...it does sound like a convent. A secular one.

On the school grounds, it's a severe penalty. And causes scandal for the girl in question. It is an all-girl school.
