On an otherwise unsuspecting night:

Razor was, as usual, true to his promise. There's not a sound in the air until his feet hit the pavement outside her home, a few gusts of wind rattling at the windows.

She may not have been expecting him so late. He had to clean up after the hunt so he looked nice after all! It's important to look nice when with city humans. There's a light knock, knock, knock along the door. He knows its hers, he can smell her all around, but there's others too.

And the wolf waits patiently, wings tucked away once more.

It's true, she was not expecting visitors so late. She's currently puttering about the kitchen, getting it somewhat in order before bed. As such, she jumps a little when she hears the knock, then sets down the plate she was holding and approaches the door. Absentmindedly, she checks for her dagger -- old habits die hard.

Ascertained of the dagger's presence, she opens the door -- only to find a familiar face behind it. "Razor-san?"

It'd be a terrible assassin that knocks before entering. But then, such things might just be dramatic enough to be true. Still, there's no assassins here, just a smiling wolf with his metaphorical tail wagging.

"Done with hunt, came to see. Promised." She may not have realized when their texting ended that he meant THAT very night.

Honestly, she wasn't sure when he'd show up. Which paradoxically means she's perhaps less surprised than otherwise. But she can't quite help the blush that creeps onto her cheeks when she remembers their conversation. Remembers that this is a date.

Still, she smiles at him and steps aside to welcome him inside. "Please come in!" She says.

It's okay, Rin. People gave you plenty of advice on how dates work. You'll be fine.

And on her dining table stands evidence of the help she got: a colorful bouquet that Steve helped her put together earlier in the day.

Razor's grasp of time isn't the best in the world, so 'after the hunt' was probably about as specific as he might get, outside of days. His head tilts, catching the blush with a hint of curiosity even as his smile lingers.

"Mmmh, thank you." He steps through, quietly glancing to one side to figure out if this is one of those houses where shoes are left to the side by the door. One of the few polite customs he's actually somewhat aware of.

Curious glowing eyes look over the flowers, following Rin inside and sniffing at the air. It's nice, sweet, floral. Not a bad choice for someone with a strong nose. "You have... been good?"
